The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill "On Amendments to the Natural Resources Code of Ukraine regarding Production of Drinking Ground Water"

The bill (Reg. No. 4679) specifies the terms of realization of the right of land owners and land users to produce fresh ground water for economic and household needs without special permits. Thus, this right will be granted, provided the productivity of ground water supply intake does not exceed 300 cu.m. a day and there is no referencing to the production depth.
